Nican is information on recreation, tourism, sport and the arts for people with disAbilities and supports an Australian society where any recreational opportunity values diversity, supports freedom and choice and strengthens inclusive communities.
Nican is funded as an Information Service by the Australian Government Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.



Arts Access Victoria has a state-wide focus with programs in metro, outer-metro and regional Victoria.  Our programs adopt a community-strengthening approach that is characterised by strong community-based partnerships, led by people with a disability.  With extensive statewide networks across the arts, disability, community, local government and education sectors, Arts Access Victoria is in an ideal position to provide training, resources, mentorships, advice and information services for organisations and individuals from both the arts and disability sectors.



Arts Access Australia (AAA) is the peak national body for arts and disability.



Artists need a space to work, professional guidance, quality materials, and ways to exhibit and sell their artwork.Our inner city studio and gallery exist to nurture and promote artists with an intellectual disability as they develop their body of work.

We promote and exhibit artists’ work as belonging to the broad spectrum of contemporary art, and studio artists are represented in mainstream art exhibitions and events.

Back to Back Theatre creates new forms of contemporary theatre imagined from the minds and experiences of a unique ensemble of actors with disabilities, giving voice to social and political issues that speak to all people. Based in Geelong, Australia, the company makes work locally and tours globally.

rawcus is an ensemble of performers with and without disabilities.?rawcus draws on dance, theatre and visual art disciplines. rawcus offers masterclasses, workshops and conference presentations.



Art Unlimited is an initiative of St Laurence Community Services created to provide opportunities for practising artists with a disability. Art Unlimited gives artists access to a professional studio, the guidance and advice of professional artists and an opportunity to participate in supported employment. Art works are for sale to the public, through this website and through exhibits at the studio.



Weave Movement Theatre is an exceptionally talented and diverse Melbourne based dance/movement performance company comprising people with and without disabilities.



Wild@heART works with people with diverse abilities or mental illness to tell their stories through high quality arts making in music, dance, video and performance.
